Help creating Ltd company

I have found a small retail space in the UK that I would like to rent to start a small take away place. I live in Scandinavia but will have 1 person locally hired to run it.

When I google there are many ads with cheap services to form a Ltd company for non residents.

Non-UK Resident Company Formation with a Business Bank Account for £98 for example. I do not know how reliable any of these ads/ companies are. Can anyone refer me to somewhere where they've had a good experience?

I can’t, but I can tell you creating the company is child’s play, and you could easily do it yourself.

The chokepoint is the bank, and they’ve got ever more choosy over the past 5-10 years. Most comments on here suggest it’s extremely hard to get an account unless at least one director is UK resident.

I’d be very sceptical of any service claiming that they can procure an account for you: I’d want to deal directly with the bank, and hear them say “no” to my face. But maybe one of the regulars can be more upbeat.
