@The Byre I met a beatiful woman from Greenock and did the whole back and forth long distance thing for a while, then finally asked her to marry me. We've got the wedding booked and will be staying in Glasgow for a few years before possibly coming back statesite (we'll just have to see what happens).


@aimccartney I would be starting up an online based business but i'm still in my discovery phase at the moment. I'm trying to see if it's something that would go over well here in the UK. I will post more details at a later date!

Welcome to the forums! Will be a big jump, from states to Glasgow. Glasgow is nice place though. Congrats on the wedding!

Just make sure you get the whole visa/green card thing sorted in advance. If you haven't got clearance in advance, the authorities may tell you to get the duck out of Fodge!

Online is a massive sector in UK especially ecommerce and SAS / Cloud, competitive as as well but that goes with the territory.
