Manipulating Search Results for the greater good or just another example of how the SERPS don't throw up "true" or "objective" results?

One downside to these results are as follows:

Type in my clients company name and Google automatically displays the link to a voucher code website.

Obviously there is a percentage of people who would have simply bought from the site without a discount code so this is costing my client potential revenue!

A valid point, however I called up my contact at the voucher code site and asked them for Google Analytics info, specifically keywords that attract people to our page on their site. I was hoping to see product keywords, but instead it was " company name - discount code" "company name - discount voucher"

It's not a huge amount but in lost customer revenue was £400 and affiliate costs was around £170, so a total of £570 lost revenue for the month of August. We are testing this month without a discount code to see if the amount of orders decreases.

Having said that, even though we have no current live discount codes, we are still getting click throughs from the voucher code site resulting in a sale!
