genius business idea but wheres the flaw?

Hi,

I have a few websites and getting them listed is a pain so I use free submission websites who only submit your site to a limited number of sites and usually use 2 or 3 different ones.

And then I get loads of marketing e-mails for the smaller search engines and the submission service.

Now my idea I've been looking at search engine promotion software and it will list you on 100,000 search engines.

The genius bit.

I could a) use my e-mail address to confirm the submission or
B) I could setup a subdomain and email forwarder to any number of email addresses

Simple I know, never seen anyone that does it that way though.

Pricing? Not sure but not too expensive.

What do you all think? (It seemed too simple to be workable to me, there must be a flaw)

And if your problem is getting you site in google then just post it on Digg and a few other bookmark sites and it will be on it in a couple of days.

Then start writing articles and press releases all over the Internet to start building your site's global backlink profile.

Not sure of the "genius" bit either, but if you're doing any kind of mass submission it's always best to create a dedicated email address to handle the inevitable spam (somthing like [email protected] or [email protected]).

So what were you getting at in your "genius" bit?!?

That is not a genius idea - plenty of software out there that does submissions. Also - there are only 3 search engines that control 99.9% of the market, google having 90% of the total market.

If you want to focus on mass submission, leave it. This is not the genius business idea. You would be penalized instead of getting benefit of links. Any kind of mass submission either it is on social media sites or on directory submission sites is not liked by Google.

Best advice yet! Avoid listing on multiple search engines, there are only a few that really matter!

Remember that there are only a handful of trues search engines that others piggy back from - that 100,000 figure probably has 100,000 tiny little names who use google/yahoo/jeeves to submit to.

I'm not sure that there IS a business idea, let alone a genius one? Did I miss it too?
