GDPR Letter - requesting compo for destroying their lifes.

Hi

We have had a letter from some one claiming we have ruined their life, by not having a GDPR Cookie control thingy... which of course is our mistake.

They are requesting compo for the damage it has done them.. Burn the letter or cough up and put it down to experience?

He is a professional 9 page copied and pasted..

ICO has stated there is a lot going on at the moment and that he can only claim through Small Claims Court, they would not take action if this guy sent in a complaint to them about us.

So seems like a awnker looking for lowest hanging fruit.
