Free Networking in Bristol?

Hello,

I am new start up and I am trying to make myself known to fellow Bristol businesses. I am looking for networking opportunities in the area that are also free?? I would be grateful for any suggestions!

Few do really free networking face to face as there is always a cost involved of some sort, even if they say it only covers coffee and breakfast or whatever. But I suspect that to some degree you get what you pay for.

We have free online networking for Bristol (here) and you may find some members of our Bristol Network have some tips to pass on. Add a discussion post with the question and see what comes back.

FSB run free monthly events in Bristol. There are others like GWE Business West, Lloyds TSB, Business Inspired and Sole Traders where you pay per event. Findnetworkingevents.com lists events in the area.

Just to re-itterate : The Federation Of Small Businesses runs a Seminar / Networking Event at the Aztec Hotel on the last Wednsday of each month excluding December.

7:00pm for 7:30pm Talk with Q+A lats about 40 mins & back out for more networking.

This monthly event is Free to all, non-FSB Members welcome we even provide light refresments & Free parking.

Yes I suppose you get what you pay for and if the venue is free then maybe it's not too much to ask people to cover the cost of a coffee. Networking is very important to new business.
