Newbie here.

Not a business as such (although I do have one) but a campaign.

Join in the debate or spread the word through your contacts. This will hopefully make a difference. Oh - and there's free badges!

Now that is a great idea. I am a management consultant so have difficulty talking without jargon - hardly notice I am using it in fact - so I would be useless at reviewing sites to judge how jargon free they are.

Thanks for the positive comments.

I'm looking for ways of getting the campaign across to businessfolk (who preferably have a website) across the country.

Suggestions and ideas would be most grateful.

Hmmm...yes - I might offer a monochrome badge too at some point. I doubt that's stopping people submitting though.

Any more tips on spreading the word?

Personally I would say the success of the venture will hang on whether you manage to position yourself as an expert. If you can do that slowly with a good helpful article database and some big clients displaying the badge (and possibly some text on their sites about the scheme) then people will start to come to you.

Thanks. I do feel welcome here. Are there any people from Notts on here?

Kool idea but what do I do with my site that was specifically set up to help to explain the jargon. How can I explained WI-FI, voice over IP, non-geographical telephone numbers, IT Security best practice and compliance issues are without using the jargon in my text?
