Dropshipping - Advice needed urgently :)

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and i'm actually about to begin dropshipping some goods on ebay. Just wanted to know if any other dropshippers have any advice to give me and also wanted to know if you face any common problems...

Plus, I don't know how to start my business.. I want to test whether or not dropshipping will actually earn me money, but I don't know how to do this... should I list all the items I can that provide me with a reasonable profit or only the items that can provide me with very high profits of which there are only a few 3-8

I'd be listing all of the products you can, AFTER you have looked into the products, the selling price etc they go for on Ebay, pricewise its up to you, you can either sell for a low profit and have a turnover or find a product that sells for a higher profit

dont forget to work out the ebay and paypal fees,

there's a forum for dropshippers, look for it, you'll find all your answers on there. I don't think many of us on herer are. (I'm not)
There are other things to consider apart from which product to sell.

A friend of mine is in the drop shipping biz. He mentioned to me that one of his strategies to success is to focus on a niche that he understands very well - to the point that its easy to dominate in that area.

Sounds like good advice - of course I have no idea how profitable he is.

I've never dropshipped myself, I did consider it.

Main thing to remember is your reputation will be in your suppliers hands, with ebay's feedback system that makes it quiet a precarious method of existing these days, many sellers have had their accounts closed due to poor goods, delivery etc.

2.you launch a shop online,the important thing is how to attract your clients,No clients,No profit.

My advice towards drop shipping is finding the right suppliers with the best margins.

I would suggest selling on eBay to build your profile, but if you have your own website you can cut out some of the fees and hold more stock on your own site.

If you need help with suppliers just let me know as I have some contacts, but I also provide a product sourcing service to clients.
