Do you protect your phone and keep it in a case/covering curious as to how many people do?

No.

10 years ago a phone clipped on the hip was acceptable, now it's equateable to wearing sandals with knee length socks.

................and as for those idiots who wander around Tesco's with their bluetooth earpieces in like some kind of chav/borg hybrid - don't get me started!!:D

Blackberry kept in the case it comes in as it acts like a keylock too.

Other phone just gets chucked in pocket, bag wherever.

I have a flip covering to the screen as I have a complete touch screen phone and its therefore delicate and does carry lots of nice scratches ... the flip cover though is handy as it keeps my stylus in it and I tend to hide the odd banknote in it too for those emergencies!

I use a bit of sticky plastic to protect the screen from scratches but other than that I don't protect it. Anyway once it gets beaten up a bit I know it's time to get a new one.....after all who wants to be 3 years behind the times........no street creed in that.

Nah i dont, but if i got a blackberry would because it acts as a keylock like someone said.

Actually saying that, i could see myself using it for 3/4 weeks and then growing tiresome of pulling it out all the time and losing the case, so would then go to not having a case again.

Yep have to for my iphone to protect that glorious screen! and its abit like a blackberry case where the whole thing fits in it, not a case that covers everything but the screen.

^^ Same here tbh, I use the 'holster' that came with my Blackberry.

I also bought one of thse little clear screen protectors off ebay, and I'm shamelessly gonna give a plug to the supplier because they were well priced, decent quality, superfast delivery, etc. Me and a few mates all now have these protective screens, as we would be hard on phones generally.

Shameless plug of supplier......

I'm in the 'blackberry in its pouch' camp. As already said it acts as a keylock and keeps it scratch free. I will take it out if I am off to the pub etc as it is just too bulky in some cases.

I always start of using the case whenever I get a new phone but then I become lazy and don't bother with it. Result? My phone is covered is scratches!

I second that! but luckily my iPhone screen doesn't have scrathes yet, just the back. Might get one of those plastic screen protectors.
