Do I need a Licence For selling...

I'm from the UK and am currently selling on Ebay.

But just wanted to ask if I need a Licence For selling Clothing, Umbrellas and Pins (Badges) ?
Or if there's any restrictions I should know about?

I thought I read something somewhere about umbrellas but can't seem to find it, So I don't know if I imaged it or not....

I'm looking to import some umbrellas from Germany. Not sure if there's any rules on importing umbrellas to the UK from Germany. I can't seem to find any.

If anyone know please could you let me know thanks

Despite Brexit and other symptoms of mad cow disease, an import ban on umbellas has yet to be implemented!

You need a licence for selling alcohol and for opening a casino, and for street trading but for selling everyday items in a shop or online? There are standards that certain items have to meet such as children's toys. Also there are certain banned substances you cannot put in food that is for sale. That is just following mandatory standards and regulations. There is usually no licence involved.
