Discipline and grievence procedures

Please excuse me I am a complete novice in this area!!
My wife has a hairdressing business, she employs 3 staff.

By law we need to have a grievence procedure.

Does this take the form of a document handed to the staff explaining the grievence procedures and is there a standard document which I can download to use.
