Designer Dog Coats

We are potentially about to launch a new line of designer dog coats and we were wondering on whether anyone had opinions on the best UK cities to target. We are aware that due to programmes such as the only way is essex, such products are more popular.

Any feedback would be grand

Brighton would be quite popular. Dogs at school gates seem to by multiplying every month.

I'm not sure that targeting pets by cities is a particuarly clever way of going about it!

Wouldnt you be better targeting a chain of pet shops, or independants?? Best to start with ones in your local area so you can give them a personal service and go from there.

Kensington and Chelsea - ridiculous amounts of money spent on dogs out there. Desperately trying to get some of them to spend it on my business!

Quite a few shops selling this kind of thing in Notting Hill, Purple Bone being the one place which springs to mind as they have a store in Westfield and by Notting Hill Gate.

Not that dogs should be wearing coats, well apart from ones with no fur then it's ok.

A lot of dogs actually do need to wear coats - whether they need a designer coat - thats another question lol. You would be best advertising in the trade magazines and maybe even thinking about getting a trade stand at P.A.T show.

Trade shows are a good idea, you just missed discover dogs but the london pet show or crufts may be a good place to start.
