Custom Invoice Design for Quickbooks Online

I've been using Quickbooks Online for a few years and have been setting up a new QBO account for a new business. On our old account we have the option to design an invoice template in Word and upload the template to QBO, however, Quickbooks have removed the function from new accounts and in all the forums the Quickbooks staff just tell people to use an app to design invoices instead.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on an app to use that integrates with QBO so it can sync the invoices, etc?

I don't know about the integration part, but I do the bookkeeping for a company, and I raise the invoices. I use Excel to prepare the invoice, which includes a userform, and VBA to automate it, and it creates an invoice in PDF format. I then create an invoice on QuickBooks, just for the purpose of entering the transaction.

Yes, well ****ed off with Intuit.

Was using Quickbooks Desktop until they shut that off and forced everyone onto Online.

Desktop version had full editing allowed. Now this Online version is very basic. Still making life hard work.
