Hi ,
Can anyone give help with this - I'm importing a machine from China and my broker as aske d for a commodity code which i have sent -8701 2110 00 but they have asked this :
My customs team are asking for an additional code which goes with the customs commodity code 8701 2110 00 you have chosen.
Please see the link to import controls under this commodity for Fluorinated greenhouse gases.
but im not sure which additional code is required

The tractor you're importing may have some refrigerant system (like AC) and you have to declare the refrigerant used isn't banned. If it doesn't have any such system you'd probably use Y926. If it does have AC you'll need to choose from a shed load of possible options, all of which can be be viewed on the HMRC's UK integrated tariff system (I'm not allowed to post a link) - Have aspirin on standby.
