Hi,
I'm hoping some of you may be able to help out with a fundraising event I'm organising in aid of St. Luke's Hospice in London. The event is a benefit for the Hospice (theme to be confirmed!!) and will include, food, drink, live music, raffles etc.
I became involved with the Charity last year when they cared for a member of my family in their final days and cannot thank them enough for their support, professionalism and caring attitudes towards patients and their relatives.
We are hosting the event so 100% of ticket sales, donations and raffle money will go directly to the hospice. We are hoping to secure a small amount of sponsorship in order to help with costs and make the event as successful as possible.
The event is taking place with the full support of the Hospice (please Google them to view their website as I am unable to post links) and I have a letter of authenticity from them to prove I am able to raise funds in their name and will be donating 100% of the money to them. Anyone who is able to help out with sponsorship or donate in any way will, of course, have their donation recorded and receive a receipt and are more than welcome to come along on the evening.
In addition to this, your company name and logo will be professionally printed on our invitations if you so wish.
It's also worth pointing out that the Hospice receives less than a third of it's costs from Government funding so it's a really worthwhile cause. Seeing as we are nearing the end of the tax year please make the most of tax-free giving - even the smallest of donations will help us to host a great event!!
We are looking for donations towards the cost of running the event and/or raffle prizes so anything you can offer or suggest will be gratefully received. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
