Can you sell a twitter account?

Interesting questions I know but wondering if there is a market to sell established twitter accounts with followers?

Not using one anymore which has just over 5k followers all of a music (pop) background

If anyone has any advise on where, or even if I can sell the account do let me know

Well, it is a violation really, but I have seen people doing it. For example in fiverr.

One thing you can do with Twitter accounts is wrestle control from a current owner if that name is related to your business, you do lose all the followers though, but an interesting fact

Shouldnt think its worth much. You can buy 10k followers for circa £40.

I dare say, if your followers are genuine they will be better quality leads than above but a buyer is going to have to take your word for that.

Simply put; it's again Twitter's TOS, and it will be deleted - might take 2 days or two months but they're fairly clued-in when it comes to this.

People still do it, if they want it that bad they will pay, one of our clients sold their twitter account for around £800. Some people just make hundreds of twitter accounts with a link to a buy page, IMO I just think it's like domain pirates but some people will do anything for a dollar online.

Yes! it is true that you're not able to sell your twitter account. It is against Twitter policies. You are violating Twitter policies, if you were selling your twitter account. Twitter can close your account for this act. So, be careful.

UKBF forum account since 2006, lots of posts, lots of likes, make the right offer and pretend they are all yours, whilst you spam the board with offers of SEO.

One careful owner, a few dubious posts here and there, the username can be changed to anything you like after funds clear.

Yep, as happened when I purchased UKBF back from the company I originally sold it to. It came with two Twitter accounts, one verified with the blue tick (which we didn't need to pay for seeing as the blue tick is now a paid for feature)
