Could someone point me in the correct direction of someone who could possibly make me a website.

How are you planning the market the site?
Who are you targeting?
Is it a local or national site?
Have you got hosting?
Have you brought the domain name?
How much money have your got?

I could build you a website today, you could be up and running by lunchtime but it's not going to be very effective unless you have answers to all the above.

There are many people who can build a website for you but you didn't mentioned your requirements not even what sort of website you are looking for? If you are aware about your niche then you can also build a website on your own.

By the sounds of it, you don't need anything overly complicated. Buy the hosting and domain yourself, get a wordpress set up and then get a local company to do the rest for you. The inexpensive option.
