In a year where he has a player revolt with Tevez, and the fact that he can't even control a spoiled brat like Balotelli who is to blame for Manchester City's failure in the Premier League?

Money loses out against experience and teamwork don't you think?

Two good mates - one supports City and one supports Blackburn - both spent most of the season whinging about their managers!

So the prize for inaction goes to .....

Think the Tevez thing was caused by his agent though, remember that Man Utd opted NOT to sign him. Wonder why that was? He is a very good player but seems to have an agent that continually hoofs him round different clubs to try and squeeze more money out of him before he retires.

Ballotelli is in the Rooney mould, not the best but a very good player who just cannot keep his cool. Man City really needed someone like a Giggs or a Lampard or Gerrard to bring a bit of calmness to the team.

Man City aren't a team, they're a set of individuals who play on the same pitch.

I completely agree. Balotelli needs a manager like SAF too.

Ballotelli is an idiot, bags of talent and he wastes his time trying to break opponents legs instead of doing what we all know he can. He'll have to go, if they are ever to progress.

I thought at the beginning of the season that maybe Mancini was out of his depth, but he seems a shrewd enough manager, just needs a little time to weed out some inflated egos and build the rest of his team.

Whilst you can 'buy' a team, getting it to gel is not always easy. He's done a decent enough job of it, but Fergie has the knack of getting his team fired up and everyone playing for the shirt.....that takes time.

I'm a Liverpool supporter for my sins, and we've got a whole load of our own problems :(

Begins with Andy ends in Carrol :D

At least with Torres we have all seen him score lots of goals for club and country, Liverpool would have done better bringing Owen back on a free and let him score 5 goals in 15 games a season.:p

Don't think Dalglish should go though, he should be given the chance to get rid of the dead wood and start fresh.

I'm a Man Utd supporter and after seeing us knocked out of Europe i could swear this was going to be Fergies last season, they'd completely lost it and were blown away by Man City but somehow red nose has managed it again (almost).

God yes, it's about being outside or inside the white line. Easy

:D

but if he receives a ball from a play off, kick in or corner then he isn't offside. Couldn't tell you anything else

:)

whats a play off and a kick in? :|
a corner no offside. a throw in no offside . a free kick can be offside

mancini is the problem.
he could of fixed the tevez issue long ago.why have your best goal scorer on the bench or out so long?
people mess up.you forgive and move on.
balotelli is also the problem.
hes not a team player

Tevez has proven he (or his agent) can be difficult to 'manage' and Mancini should have kicked him out of the club, so to for Ballotelli but Mancini has shown weakness in letting Tevez back in to the team when he was happy enough playing golf and signing autographs thousands of miles away.

When Ronaldo wanted to leave Man Utd Ferguson sold him to Real Madrid. When Beckham wanted to leave Ferguson sold him Real Madrid. Van Nistelrooy to guess who Real Madrid. 3 hugely big names that got too big for their boots and became bigger names than the club. 2 of the 3 still regard Ferguson as the greatest manager they've played for.

No player is bigger than the club. Tevez and Ballotelli need to learn that.

had my company suspended me and i had the money to have a holiday and had i been famous and signed a few autographs then i would have done the same.
i would be very happy with life but still i would want to play also.all he dd was live his life like a human

erm..play for another club?

The reason Tevez was away playing golf was because he refused to play against Bayern in a crucial match. On TV he clearly says 'no' when asked to warm up in preparation for coming on to the pitch.

Greatness? no. Weakness. He has let Tevez become bigger than the manager. Mancini has been weak. He should have sold Tevez in January and should sell Ballotelli this summer, however, if reports are correct Ballotelli has apologised for his actions this season and has asked to stay at Man City.

Tevez hasn't asked to stay at Man City. He's played golf for 6 months then decided that he may as well come back for a bit to earn some extra cash for him and his agent.

Tevez has also said he will retire early from football and won't play in to his 30s. he is not a long term prospect, he has been disrespectful to the fans who paid good money to see him play this season and he has been disrespectful to his manager.

If a member of your staff said he wasn't coming in to work this week because he doesn't want to, then went off on holiday, would you welcome him back with open arms?

how do you know all of this..?
the moment he said no he wasnt playing he got suspended.it was a done deal.
then he went away.
he was at work he just refused to do any.
if a staff member turned up for work then refused to do any then got suspended.whilst suspended that person is free to do as they wish.im not hitler or operate a prison
saying you want to finish early and not play on in your 30s is not a crime..

How do i know all of this? It's in the..paper..and ..on the news?

It's called breach of contract :| erm..i don't think it has anything to do with Hitler or prisons, he broke his contract by refusing to play.

Who said it was a crime not to play in to your 30s? He doesn't have any resale value.

I don't think you quite understand how football works. Players can't just come and go when they wish, it isn't Sunday league.

it must be true then.
he signed in 2009 even he did five years he would go on a free . resale is nothing unless he changes his mind. even if he does he could go on a free.

he scored tonight. im sure a few more and if city win the league all will be forgotten.but im sure it already is as he was on the pitch

If Mancini goes at the end of the season then so should Dalglish. He's spent over £100 million on absolute rubbish and achieved a big fat nothing. Had Hodgson or Benitez done the same they would have been gone by now.

Mancini has definitely got things badly wrong with Balotelli and Tevez, but even with their spending power he is still up against Alex Ferguson and only Wenger and Mourinho have managed to get one over on him in recent years. Mancini is certainly no Wenger or Mourinho.

It doesn't matter who manages Man City, they are always going to have their work cut out trying to beat Ferguson to the title and although people often try to, you can never write off Arsenal with Wenger in charge either.

Dalglish bought British thinking he was still on holiday in Barcelona...think the face says it all.

'Im in England..these are English players..they cant even pass the ball or shoot on target..what have i done" Smacks head against wall repeatedly.

For liverpool to be all the way down there in the table is appalling. 5th place maybe but they've been woeful recently.
