Can anyone recommend an import/distribution consultant?

I have offshore cilent who seek to introduce a range of disposable medical products into the UK retail market.

They seek a UK consultant who can advise and guide them logistically, with regards to sales, relationship building, and distribution of their products to hospitals and suchlike.

I have no such contacts myself and was wondering whether anyone here specialised in that sort of thing, or knew where to find someone who did?

I told them I would put my feelers out, so any leads or contacts would be most welcome. Thanks for any leads/help

For the medical field, it would be tough to get in unless you are an approved supplier. All the t's to be crossed and i's dotted with vigorous testing criteria before they can even consider using the company!

Very true. They are expecting to spend big money, having already done this several times before exporting to other countries. What they really need is a good UK contact with experience in this field. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes personally. Although fun, its challenging as it is, running any business in your own country. Running the show from farther afield liaising in a second language, initially with strangers, would certainly keep you on your toes.
