buying expired domains

Hi,

Is it worth buying expired domains and put a blog onto them then a link to the money site? Came across 2 websites with holding pages and they are due to expire later this year. They both have a decent link profile, no spam links, no manual link building, so all good links. Would it work?
One is DA39 the other DA48 so decent strong links pointing to them. They both highly related to my money site.

Its called a private blog network,blackhat. But yeah works well.

Massively unlikely those domains will expire though

yes ..most would be grabbed by domain catcher using script.. pretty difficult to grab good expiring domains this days.

Yes, private blog networks work very, very well!

As 'Boring Friday' said it is really, really unlikely that those domains will expire, so I wouldn't waste time waiting for them.

Its better to use free blog hosting sites compared to expired domains because of the fresh domains to build up new, unique, and interesting featured content from the blog sites for the target audience.

But that's going to take more time than buying powerful expired domains though.

I went through a phase of grabbing half decent expired domains, and building blogs on them, but it is hard work with little reward for me (as I probably wasn't doing it big enough), especially if you are to do it properly with them hosted all on different IPs, registered with different registrars etc.

I got bored, so now I have a load of pretty useless blog sites
