Bookkeeper looking Accountant/firm

I have recently regsitered with the HMRC as an accountancy service provider under the MLR.

Haven gone through the Go for it programme, i am now in the position to start taking clients.

I am looking potential accountant/accounts firm to whom i can work with.

In order words, i will be undertaking the bookkeeping task and should my client require accountants, i will recomend the accountant/firm and hoping this would be vice versa.

just to clarify, are you looking both potential clients and accountants/ accountancy firms?

the reason i ask is that we are direct marketing consultants and supply companies with business lists for contacts matching their requirements. if you are looking to contact accountants/ accountancy firms or to attract potential new clients, this is definitely something i can help you out with.

Would have to say that i am looking both.

I live in Crossgar, Co. Down but i work in Belfast City centre and will only be undertaking the bookkeeping from home on a part time basis.

website and business cards are presently being designed.

i will be visiting local businesses and will make contact with firms/accountants to arrange an informal meeting to try and sell my service to them.

I would also be interested in hearing from similar UK based bookkeepers if anyone else reads this thread.

We currently have a referral incentive (e-mail me for details)- we are happy to pay anyone a commission for successful referrals!

As an added incentive I can also offer ad-hoc technical advice to anyone who manages to bring in regular work to the firm.
