Accountant needed to handle Corporation Tax (CT600) starting next year

Hi all,

I’m looking for a UK-based accountant to handle Corporation Tax (CT600) and annual filings with HMRC & Companies House for my small limited company starting Feb 2026. My current accountant is retiring after 10+ years, so I need a replacement.

The accounts are pretty simple. Every year in February I give the accountant my Santander Business Banking spreadsheets and my PayPal spreadsheets and, from them, the accountant prepares and files the Corporation Tax and accounts.

What I’m Looking For:

• Someone who charges reasonable fees (not large accountancy firms)
• Full-service accountant (not just bookkeeping—must be able to file annual returns)
• Experience with Corporation Tax, CT600, and limited company accounts
• Uses TaxCalc or Taxfiler (or any compatible software)
• Friendly, responsive, and easy to deal with

If anyone has recommendations or can offer their services, I’d appreciate it.

Hello, I'd like to bump this post to the top of the queue, if possible. A year ago my accountant told me he was retiring so I wrote the above post in haste to find a replacement. However, I realised it was probably better to wait for a year as I wouldn't need the new accountant immediately.
