Thanks for posting the link re Christopher Farrell.

Shame really. I've only watched this last episode in full and liked him the most because he was quiet and just got on with things.

At 29 he has time to turn his life around and make it better but the suggestion that he might have hit a woman with a knuckleduster makes him sound like very bad news.

Well, it suprises me to say it, but that Stuart chap was not too bad last night !

Or the girl who owns the cleaning company.

But the little girl who was moaning on and on - oh wow - get rid of her quick.

In truth - they all seem pretty bad - possibly the worst lot they have ever had - but I think i said that last series as well !

But the funny thing is, I would bet that all of them go on to bigger and better things - so its obviously not about talent - maybe it does all come down to self belief.

Im enjoying the show as usual though

All the best

Steve

Does anyone know what business baggsy is talking about that terns over 3million a year, and if so why is he on the apprentice, and normally when people bring that sort of thing up SAS asks why they are there, and he didn't.

Baggsy is the apprentice version of Wagner lol

Haha I totally agree!!

I would personally hate to work for someone after working for myself, even if it is for LAS. Also I know he;s looking for a "spark" etc etc but I mean you have got to be kidding if you think this guy is going to be effective.

The guys an idiot and the apprentice should taken for what it is, an entertaining TV show. Liz was the last remaining decent candidate in my view.

I'd say out of the people left I'd employ steady stella

Me too, definitely. Out of all the candidates in this series, she's the only one I've seen do any real planning. She's got a very methodical approach (most of the time anyway) and maybe that's why she has been accused of being 'too corporate' and 'wooden'. The others all seem to just jump in feet first without any sort of planning. I dunno, maybe Lord Sugar's looking for someone who's a bit of a risk-taker, in which case he probably won't employ Stella. I like her though :)

Yep its the same every year there's always one who has what seems, on the surface, a very successful business so why are they looking for a job?

Baggsy was brill for entertainment value in the boardroom and I think LAS see's a little of himself in 'the brand'.

I'm stunned that Baggsy's behaviour on the streets and outside the ticket shop wasn't brought up in the boardroom. I would've fired his ass for that, even if he'd been on the winning team. What an embarrassment! I would *not* want someone who behaves like that representing my brand!

I'm not a one trick pony. I'm not even a ten trick pony.

I've a field full of ponies!

You forgot that famous line big Al Fayed was heard saying on a secret tape of the conversation about the govt refusing him a passport.

He said. The establishment think I am a big p---. What they don't know is I got bloody big balllukas - or words to that effect.

Me I hope Stella wins. I have a client that would want to employ Liz and at £100K a year.

But this is television, not the real world.

And I have the feeling that LS emphasis on "so you did all of that yourself, did you?" is the backwards swing to that mighty demolition ball that's about to come crashing through Baggsy's world next week in the Interview round.

I hope so, yes. Can't see him doing very well in the interviews. He really does make me cringe! :D

(I love the way you phrased that... genius! :D)

it was little funny, LAS fell for the sales pitch of a "21" year old ego, and LAS does is go on about how shrude he is.

Baggsy was getting better but I did think his outbirst with the other team did put him back a few pegs again.

I would put my money on Stella. In terms of maturity, she clearly stands out. On the opposite end of the sprectrum is Stuart - the epitome of immaturity - amusing to watch for sure, but not a serious contender.

My next bet would be on Jamie. Chris, although not a bad fella, is a bit too serious and borders on being a bore.

Wouldn't bet on the other two at all.

Oh man - the eye candy has gone !

    :p

I'm not saying Stella is not attractive, but a bit too serious for me !

And whilst Joanna would be bags of fun Im sure, she's bit loopy at times as well.

Oh well, back to waiting for the Miss World pagent to be televised.

    All the best

Steve (who seriously needs his HR policy looking at!)

Lol! I'm with you she was *seriously* gorgeous, still was it just me I expected her to be looking really hot on the 'you're fired' show and she didnt look (as good as) she did in the show itself, lighting and make-up but still gorgeous!

Didn't see her as I can't stand the show but I asked my wife and she seems to think that she is from Birmingham but spends a lot of time in Preston as she is dating Wayne Henderson (The Preston Northend Goalie).

    If that makes any sense?

Admittedly I never watched a single episode and don't even know who was in it, never mind who won, but I don't get this show at all.

I seen a couple of trailers for it going on about how they were looking for "the best young business people in the UK" (paraphrasing here).

Why would the best business people want to take £2k a week to work for someone else if they're so great? :|

Don't take the show too seriously - it has its drawbacks, but overall its a great show. I think this can be a good example of seeing how people can perform - what is good, what is bad. I think I have learned something from the show and it is interesting to mentally put yourself in their shoes as well.
