I gotta admit - I'm very shallow - I'd just hire the pretty one !

Which would be Sandeesh for me - even though Im sure she would get on my nerves fairly quickly !

But - the above rule would go out the window if I had a chance to higher the former contestant, Ruth the Badger !

Now theres someone who could make you a lot of money - then I could just sponser a miss world pagent or something :)

All the best

Steve

Come on now guys. In the previous 5 series I havent seen any team make more than £20 quid a day between them yet 2 weeks ago last Liz got an order for babygro's worth over 70K from a major retailer.

Last week while there were of course the usual plonkers and big mouths both teans despite a limited choice of merchandise. Despite just a day to set up shop. Despite not having the advanatge of a regular customer base and following still managed to take £4,000 in a day. That is £28,000 a week. Just under £1.5 Million a year.

Once established and with a better and wider range and regular customers you could double that. Now I don't call £3 million a year from just 1 retail outlet at a typical mark up of at least 40% too bad. We are certainly talking over £500K after all operating costs.

There would be many a major retailer that would be happy to achieve those sort of figures. Lets give some of this lot a bit of credit then.

Who will win. My money would go on a reverse forecast because I reckon the are 2 in the frame. Liz and the Blonde. Actually if I could afford it I would employ Liz but I think that the Blonde will ge it because she at 30 being that little bit older has just that bit more experience with dealing with those eager to climb the greasy corporate ladder as she has already demonstrated in putting the guys in their place when team leader.

I also reckon that she has Alan's new PA Karen looking over her shoulder. This is the 3rd week that she has hitched her skirt up to her hips. Mind you I bet Steve didn't notice.

He cat seem to be get beyond Sandeesh big blues eyes. I mean Liz is far more attractive.

Them that pay for their shops and staff you mean? It's not real - it's telly.

Stella is the only one with anything about her but she won't win. It will be one of those boys that would out of their depth in a phone shop or the girl that says Lord Sugar the most times in a single sentence.

You don't think the presence of a HUGE camera crew and the opportunity to appear on TV makes a difference to attendances and sales? I'd be interested to see how they did without the fanfair.

I didn't see any customers rushing to get in front of the camera and if there were a few Alex scared a hell of a lot more off.

BTW. I reckon Unemployed Head of Coms was the real classic. How can you be an unemployed 'head' of anything.

I gues the big mouth is going to call himself the ' unemployed apprentice now'

Worse. Didn't he say he was going to set his own business up now.

Watch out for a new member called 'the orange powerhouse. Then again it might be The Germanator' Either way he is sure to snatch DWP's crown:rolleyes:

Thing is with a lot of these reality shows is so much is actually 'not' real it is staged, making it hard to know what's for real and what isn't.

Many moons ago the pilot version of zoo keepers was filmed at Paignton zoo (I was student there at that time) and the stuff they staged was unbelievable. Two zoo keepers got married in secret aside from of course the camera crew and then the 'fall-out' from zoo was also filmed re friends who were upset they weren't invited etc. I knew this couple and never in a million years would they have married in 'secret' had it not been for the TV crew (in my opinion....). Their imminent marriage was common knowledge. It was also mentioned that the zoo was tring to breed gorillas. This really confused me as all our gorillas at that time were male. Unless of course they were deseeding them and shipping it off somewhere? It's all very bizarre.

I really hope that stuart baggs goes next week. The boy is so deluded it's beyond belief! how can someone think so much of the themselves is beyond me. Stella for being the quieter one, put him in his place a few times.
Theres a fine line between confidence and arrogance, but i think the boy's taking the p*#&

Grrrrrrr..rant over* :)

OK so series six is starting next week - so I thought it would be fun for us all to see if we can choose the winner - I love it or hate it it's always entertaining :D

So who is going to win this series of The Apprentice?

Liz - She goes about her business well, doesn't upset anyone, doesn't have an ego, delivers etc

Obviously its a TV show, but i think out of all the them, she is the one.
That Stuart guy needs a reality check. Big time.

What do you guys think of inafishbowl.com as an online reality view of real businesses/entrepreneurs?

I really like that idea and site :)

I've struggled for many years with my companies. Then a new investor came on board (contacted me through this website :) ). A much younger person than me and simply opened my eyes to what i could have been doing for many years and hadn't been doing. Also his connections and contacts changed everything. In 6 months my companies have changed dramatically despite producing, developing and selling the same products we have always done.

The more information that people who want to start their own business can get the better. The information and knowledge that can come from those who have been there and done it is unbelievable.

I still think Jamie has a chance..

Stella, so boring, doesn't really do anything.
Stuart, I did like him, but last night he was very OTT.
The marine guy, he won't win
Chris, he won't win.
Liz has a chance, but personally I don't think she has done an awful lot.
Joanne, not keen.

I think Laura will be the next to go..

Next weeks, crisp task looks like it will be good.

Liz and Chris are the two it's between for me. Which is why when she brought them both back last night I think she was pretty much sacking herself!
