Hi
I need some advise on this matter which is probably simple but for me is an unknown territory.
I have recently setup an LTD company and I have received the electronic copies of the mem&arts and the certificate of Incorporation. I also received the hard copy of the certificate.
The business relates to Internet services and as part of this I want to be able to register domains on behalf of my clients (hence become myself a registrar). This procedure in the UK is pretty straight forward however I want to do the same abroad (within EU).
To do this, according to a foreign authority, I need to provide them with:
1)Proof of Incorporation and
2)Proof of assigning a person living in that country as representative.
The documents need to be apostilled/legalised and then officially translated.
The translation part is the easy one.
What I don't know is the apostille procedure as well as what is required to fulfil No 2 above. Do I put on paper (as the sole director) that Company A assigns Mr Smith to be a representative in country X were his permanent address is? (or along those lines). Will this document be appropriate to be apostilled?
Any guidance is much appreciated.
Thank you,
C
