If you need a hand with your first self-assessment tax return (which will be the period to 5.4.2012, and needs to be filed with HMRC and any tax paid by 31.1.2013) give me a shout.

Depending on your circumstances you may actually be able to get a tax refund (even more relevant as it is your first year of trade).

Two things I have noticed. A surprising amount of men wearing brown shoes and an equally surprising amount of middle aged women holding a walking stick in their hand whilst not appearing in the slightest disabled.
