Adobe Acrobat Problems

Hi

I have a PDF form created in Adobe Acrobat 6.0, generated from a Ms Word form, which allows users to complete the form in Acrobat.

The problem is when this form is opened in Adobe Reader, the following message appears

'Please note: you cannot save a completed copy of this form on your computer

If you would like a copy for your records, please fill it in and print it'

Is there a way around this problem/error appearing, and allow the user to save the form containing the information they have entered onto the form?

I used to use Acrobat 6 through to 8 but ditched it and now just use free PDF creation tools. I felt that Adobe just complicated inordinately. Anyway, to answer your question I think this may be due to the user not having Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) on their system. To be able to save the form requires that they are able to create and save a PDF (as opposed to saving an unmodified pdf to disk) which they are not able to do with the reader. Therefore they can only print.
