3PL Company for Small Businesses?

Hi all!

Firstly apologies if this thread already exists, I had a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Can anybody recommend any 3PL companies that would work with an ecommerce business shipping around 20 orders per week, increasing to around 100 per week by Christmas?

We already operate in Australia and are now expanding to UK. Any tips greatly appreciated!

Are you looking for a fulfilment company in the UK, to send out your orders to UK customers?

We work with start ups and smaller companies, and generally charge on a "per item sent" basis.

When seeing what others charge, make sure you find out if there are extra charges for taking your stock in, storage of stock, account management fees and charges for returns.

Hi Andy, your volumes might be too low for Parcelhub at the minute, but depends on your proximity to our depots in Nottingham, Sheffield or Coventry. As an out of area customer if you're at 20 per day and more than happy to quote (closer to these zones then 10 per day).

Sorry, Andy, didn't realise you did not have Amazon.

They have a service called FSB - Fulfilled By Amazon. They can do 3PL! Have a look here.

Hi Andy,

We work with all sorts of companies with all sorts of order volumes, we deal with companies that may have a couple of orders a month to those that have thousands a month.

One big thing to watch out for is minimum order spends per month/per week, any monthly management fees and any license fees to use the 3PL IT system. Another thing to look out for is if the 3PL wants to tie you in to some sort of contract.

Also worth considering integration, more specifically how you will send your orders across. The more automation the better as this means that you can concentrate on other parts of your business.
