0800 number from your mobile for FREE

Good idea! I hate phoning 08 numbers from my mobile, they really do rack up some high costs.

just heard about this site on Radio 2 - looks great

Im all for a bit of consumer revenge!!

What are you doing on here if your after consumer revenge .I heard that programme from by that idot Lewis trying to stitch up as many businesses as he can.

I have an 0800 number and always have along with 2 other published numbers .This 0800 is for people ringing from landlines to call my business for free .Not for militant activists like you that have all the time in the world to waste.

0800 numbers are great if calling from a landline, but I'm often only with my mobile and I hate it when websites only publish an 0800 number. If they have a geographical number they should post that too.

Sorry Trev your alright really !

I really do have a problem with the BBC they are very anti enterprise .
They are funded by us they never have to worry about cash flow or getting new business in yet they do their utmost to attack any business whenever they can

I'm all on for this, I like the idea.

Its not taking business away from anyone except the greedy mobile operators who insist on charging for calls to Freephone numbers from mobiles. This is a factor of the mobile operator, not the business with the freephone.

Freephone means Freephone in ROI. All calls to 1800 whether from local , national, payphone or mobile are free.

This is how it should be here, but as long as the operators get away with it they'll keep doing it.

If I want to provide potential customers a means to contact me where I pay for the call, thats my business. I hate it that these operators take away that decision of mine.

Well done, 0800Buster for cutting the greedy operators out of the loop, and keeping Freephone numbers free (as long as you have inclusive minutes..)

Regards

Brendan,

You are bang on!!!!

This was my exact point and i was half way through typing a reply that said exactly the same.

Why should you and Jezza pay good money for 0800s and the bloody mobile companies do this!!

I think it is wrong to be charged for ringing 0800 numbers from a mobile. Might give this a go. I use the say no to 0870 site to find landline numbers I can ring from my mobile to keep within inclusive minutes. I am pleased to see that BT now include 0845 in my call package at no extra cost on my landline.
