I am sure that there are lots of like minded grumpy old men (and women!) who are peeved off by one or two simple things. Sadly, the older (and grumpier) I get, the longer the list seems to get.
The main one for me is lane hoggers, who drive in lane 2 or 3 when lane 1 is empty or they are not overtaking!
However, as a pedestrian, I am now equally peeved off by people who stand at a pedestrian crossing, waiting for the lights to change, but do not press the button to activate the change. Whilst one might think that this is primarily those whipper snappers who were never taught the etiquette or people engrossed in their phone, where I am, it is a broad cross section of people who stand there aimlessly waiting to cross.
I now wave my arm like an inward spiralling propeller, culminating in a wide, bowling action button press so people can hopefully see that some form of action is required!!!!
Phew! I feel better now! I've wanted to get that off of my chest for a while.
What pet peeve do you have that, whilst possibly quite petty, grinds your gears?
