We are a team of Master's students at Northumbria University conducting research into how venue operators make decisions around their attractions — specifically how attractions are selected, financed, and refreshed over their lifecycle.
If you own, manage, or influence purchasing decisions at a venue that operates attractions of any kind, your perspective would be genuinely valuable to this study.

What we're asking:

A short, anonymous online survey, approximately 8–10 minutes to complete. No personal or commercially sensitive information is collected, and all responses will be aggregated for academic analysis only.

Why it matters:

The findings will contribute to a clearer, evidence-based understanding of purchasing behaviour and refresh cycles across the attractions sector. A summary of results will be made available to participants and industry contacts on request.

Thank you in advance to anyone able to spare a few minutes. Questions, comments, or requests for the final summary are very welcome in the thread below.
Kind regards,
Girija Chakma

I’m not even sure I understand the question.

What type of venue do you mean?

A pub, concert hall, exhibition centre, village hall, outside park, town centre, holiday camp and so on all have totally different needs and targets.

Sorry I wasn't able to post the link for the research questions earlier. This is the link and we are looking for any entertainment venues like escape room, holiday park or any indoor entertainment activity. We would be very grateful if any one can take time to participate in our research. Thank you for your time

Its not a
What kind of survey covers festivals, cruise ships and escape rooms? Too diverse to be useful
Its a new type of entertainment experience that we are developing and conducting market analysis and general sentiment for demand.

The link no longer appears to work

However the whole concept seems flawed. An escape room doesn't have attractions that are selected, financed, and refreshed over their lifecycle. It's a single event that stays pretty much the same for the lifecycle. It's generally a low cost enterprise when compared to a holiday park with a potential budget of millions.

You really need to narrow down your target to the specific type of venue that might be interested in the product you are developing. But I can tell you the actual product is far less important than how much profit the business will generate.
