I'm building a simple event management plugin for wordpress that has an optional registration form.

Can you please test the form for gremlins and bugs.

There are two versions.

Free Events:

Paid for Events:

The email you get for each is slightly different (if you use a real email address).

Also....

Not convinced about the position of the image. I think it might look better on the left.

Simple and does the job - the magic of event registration forms is what happens at the backend, for the orgaiser.

The image is OK. Consider a header banner.

I use a couple events systems (WP based) and tried several others over the years - happy to send copies for testing/review, if it helps.

Registered for the free event 10 minutes ago. Still no confirmation email. Is it automated?
Yes. Got your registration from tony@.....

Ok so the confirmation came straight through to Gmail. Still nothing on Outlook.

Is include:spf.protection.outlook.com in the SPF record?

If they were going to junk I'd say that's a me problem. But they aren't.

No. But don't usually have a problem with people using Outlook.

WHM says SPF, DKIM and DMARC are all properly configured for the domain.

Delivery report for you says:

TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384:256 CV=yes : SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 Message rejected due to user rules.

Righto. That's sorted. They were caught by the server side spam filter. It doesn't give a reason.

Don't know if this is a free or paid plugin. But users might pay for a PDF invoice (where it applies) and auto generated ticket numbers. I imagine this will tie into any Woo supported payment gateway?

I might have a use for this with those features.

Its free! I make money from customisations.

I haven't added a payment module as whichever one I choose someone will want something different. So there is no need for a pdf invoice - your get one of these when you make a payment.

I can do the ticket number thing - that's dead simple

All good so far. I've now deleted your registration so can you check you get an email.

Also check what happens if you try to book too many spaces.

I'm thinking about adding a max number option on registration. There might be 100 spots but you are only allowed a max of 6 (for example).

Event plugins are a feature vacuum. You will always find one more little thing to add on.

If you are after simplicity, even WooCommerce can do the basics (let's not argue about the simplicity, or not, of WC).

I got the cancellation for the Gmail address. Not for the tony@. Checked the spam filter. Nothing held there.
That’s because I only deleted the Gmail. You should get another email now.
