Has your business benefited from the World Cup? ⚽

Major sporting events can create opportunities in some unexpected places, so I’d be interested to hear how the tournament has affected other UK businesses.

At HFE Signs, we’ve sold several banners to pubs promoting live football, as well as the ever-popular “Come on England” banners.

Interestingly, those initial football-related enquiries have also led to further orders. Some pubs have gone on to order food banners and other signage completely unrelated to the tournament.

It’s been a good reminder that a seasonal or event-based product can sometimes open the door to a longer-term customer relationship.

Has the World Cup brought your business extra trade? Perhaps it has led to additional or unexpected opportunities beyond the initial sale?

Fun thing to watch for when the World Cup is on. You can only mention the World Cup if you've paid FIFA. So look for signs/adverts referring to "the summer of football" or "the big tournament".

Yes, this is correct, keep it generic rather thank mention the event itself

Nope. We always see a downturn during the world cup and euros.
I could do more to try and win the cases that are out there but normally I just take the breather, watch a few more games and take it for what it is. With half the games on in the middle of the night thats not really panned out this year.

Still no, but I'm planning to do a pubstomp at my small town for the final tomorrow, hope I will make some money, but if no - hope everyone will get fun!
