    Hi There,

I'm quite sure everyone has already chosen their New Year's resulotion. I've justed chosen mine. I want to establish myself as Internet Entrepreneur as soon as possible and in this year I want to make at least $7,000 from online advertisement from my blogs, websites and other medium to keep track to my goal.

In 2008, I started blogging as a medium of revenue generating source and made $1,825.92 in 7 months. Currently my monthly income is about $150 to $200. Last month I earned $518.52 or £349.38 from Google Adsense. I've a number of websites (mainly blog) in different niches; like - sports, seo, entertainment etc.

You can check my latest check in my UKBF blog - http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/blog.php?b=424

What I've to achieve my Goal:
    1. I've to earn at least $583.33 every month. So I've to work at least double than now ;)
    2. Currently my chosen niches are low paying - I'll be targetting high-paying niches
    3. I've started a Internet Entrepreneur forum - my success depends a lot on the success of this forum.
    4. I've start utilizing social networks to improve the traffic and build a loyal visitors base.

I think that unless you more than treble those figures, you'll walk away from the project in less than 2 years.

There are many ways to fully automate project ideas like this (look at any BH forum) and your MO is about three years behind the times...so how are you going to be differentiate your project?

How much time do you spend working on your blog to generate that cash?

I'm genuinely interested - I have a few blogs, which earn some money. They are something I work on when I have an hour spare, so perhaps once or twice a week I'll update it.

Did you read Joel Comm's book on Adsense? There are some really useful tips in there with regards to ad placement, colour, and shape.

I forgot to say that most entrepreneurs are earning a lot of money from affiliates, more than adsense, or selling banner space.

Affiliates, Banner or arranging seminars - all depends on how successful you are? Unless you are successful, people won't listen to you. They won't buy product endorsed by you. They won't listen what you are saying.

So I want to be successful with Adsense and similar advertisers first then I want to go the next level.

Thanks for your kind advise. Cheers!

    sounds like a plan.

How do you choose your niche?

I only choose niches for those I'm really interested to learn and share. That's why most of the time I had to choose low paying niche; like sports. I really don't like to pretend myself in unfimiliar topics. However, I'm trying to get more knowledge in different high-paying niche and hopefully I'll be started website on those; like beauty treatment, legal advice etc.

I'm a workaholic, whenever I get time - I try to concentrate on blogs. However, I try to update them by turn. However, on average I spend 2/3 hours everyday.

I believe I've seen his book, but have not read yet!
