Who is Yomtov Jacobs

Strange question I know! But I have been researching names for a potential business, and when I have check the Limited company names this name keeps appearing as the original director of the company, then his name is resigned and other director appointed. Anybody throw any light on how and this would be done.

Must admit I came up with that thread but hes listed as director of a lot of companies and then terminated almost instantaneously, very strange.

But, when I googled a tweet came up from someone who said Yomtov Jacob is registered as a director of my company, who the H*ll is he, so how can he have been a director of this guys company then resigned forthwith, does he get paid for doing this, still strange.......Hes a director of an awful lot of companies 7000+

The address given (for the director) is for Formations Direct, http://www.formationsdirect.com a company which sells on pre-registered limited company names. I'd guess he is the person they use to register a new limited company name then once you buy the limited company name he resigns and you become the director.

According to the electrol roll he is between 40-44years old and lives at [personal information removed by Mod] with his wife.

According to Street View he lives in a very ordinary street.

Another mystery name was Irving Mills who appears to have written or co-written many of the jazz standards of the 20s and 30s. He was not the writer but the publisher and insisted on a cut of the copyright fees.

Its like being a detective! LOL. Just found it very strange that he was on a lot of Limited Companies as a director then he resigned, even on ones that had not been previously bought beforehand.

Did you really need to publish his name, address and his wife's name online ? The info is out there for anyone who knows where to look. It isn't as if he has ripped anyone off (to our knowledge) , company formations is his job. Perhaps you should have google earthed him and told us what curtains he has.

You can have nominee directors for dormant companies. When the company starts to trade their name should come off and you put the real director's on.

Companies House needs at least one individual with a valid postal address on record, to form a company.
