anyone in the midlands have a lead on commercial kitchen space available for rental? I just need a place with some refrigeration and stove facility. doesn't have to be 'all mine' for use either..perfectly happy to share.

I know it may sound crude, but have you tried Pubs, I know that may not be your first choice but normally they do tend to have decent, Local authority approved kitchens, and if you can fit in whilst they are not using theirs or you may be lucky enough to find one who don't use their kitchens and are willing to rent it out 100% for you.

Pubs are having a hard time at the moment so it'll be easier for find a landlord that would say "Yes" and at a much cheaper price that a commercial kitchen, which you can go for should your venture need larger premises.

Get some Cards printed with what you do and give one to the landlords next time you go out for a drink

already thought of that actually ^_^ ilive next to a pub but i know they use theirs and we actually uh dont have the best relations with them due to some recent building work they did which poured concrete dust down our drains and a very high fence that was put up w/o planning permission. there is another pub up the way which is lovely but again certainly uses their kitchens... does anyone know if firkins are franchised? there is a bakers up the way from me that is only open very short hours so i wonder if they'd be interested in making some extra funds to use their kitchens during non business hours..same for the local sandwich shoppe that also has almost nil hours already. anyone in lye/stourbridge know of any not going to kill you with an axe pubs that dont use their kitchens? (we have a couple pubs i'd be terrified to walk into here)
