write an expression of interest

What information would need to be provided for an "expression of interest" in a commercial rented property? Presumably its more than just "I am interested" but equally I don't want to provide my life history if that is not required! Any pointers would be gratefully received. Thanks.

You could mention what you want the premises for, what length of lease you are seeking, break causes, terms, etc....

I am sure they don't want your life story but your business story may help. Is this an established business, what does it do, how long has it existed.

Give them a reason besides your bank account to rent to you.

Think of it like renting a house - landlord may not be keen on 'DHSS' as some still call benefit claimants. May not be keen on 7 foot tall Harley riders....
Or may simply want to know they are renting to a business who can keep renting.
