Dear Sirs & Ladies,

This is my second post, my first was my introduction which you can find in introduction section.

What i want to discuss in this thread is adult toys market...as we can see there are a lot of companies out there who offer this kind of products and of course a lot more buyers who want to buy those products over the internet because of there anonymity over the internet.

"In North America, sex toys are a $500-million a year industry. We're not talking candles and kinky lingerie here. We mean "personal pleasure products," the ones many of us giggle about — handcuffs, vibrators, and other devices that line the shelves of your local sex store." Source: CBC.CA

What about you? Will you start any business like this? i mean selling adult toys/products? If yes will you feel shame to say that you own a site like that?

Even Amazon started selling adult toys.

I hope i don't break in any forum policies.

Sincerely
Stelios

Hope for your replies soon.

I wouldn't be ashamed to run a business supplying sex toys.

Should I be?

People have Ann Summers parties all the time, the stigma attached is a lot less, and as you say.. the internet provides a large slice of annonimity to the purchaser.

Ann Summers have got a marketing genius working for them. The whole point of their move into very prominent positions on high streets has been to drag their product sector into respectability, and to make sure their brand name is associated with that dragging. I don't know for sure, but I'll bet their presence on high streets has also dragged up their catalogue/website/party sales.

I think its the original owners daughter, cant remember her name but she is MD and has been responsible for raising their profile and very successfully too.

"Toys" have moved on apace the last few years in terms of perception - I do not think there is any particualr shame in marketing these type of products. Even my mum has been to an Anne Summers party ( though I don't even want to go there !) , so times have changed
