What is the best free article submitter software?

I am a newbie to article marketing. I gather articles are good to get free targeted traffic. I don't want to be paying $37 per month for example just to submit my article to 200+ directories. What is the best free article marketing software?

So the best type of software for writing many articles would be the article spinner software. It is simply software that enables the author to take 1, original article, and turn it into 50 unique articles. these articles can be turned into many different directories and they will all pass as absolute, unique articles. The software can cost up to $67 for the some of the higher quality stuff. But usually the basic set up is sufficient. It has worked quite well.

If you must use articles, can't you just submit manually - not that your articles will be anything that doesn't exist already in abundance, so I fail to see what good your doing anyone

I never bothered with submitting to hundreds of general article sites and from what I'm hearing lately, most of them have gone the same way that the 'SEO-friendly' directories went. It worked OK for a while as long as no-one you were up against was doing anything better.

Instead of submitting tens or hundreds of rubbish cookie-cutter articles to loads of websites, why not find a decent blog / news / trade etc site that is an authority in your area and offer them a decent article in return for a link? You'll get a decent link instead of loads of crap ones (one decent link can do wonders and crap ones can actually hurt you) and you might get traffic from the article too.

Try the Article Submitter by Brad Callen, it's for free and easy to use. I guess it has only 70+ directories to submit on but hey, not bad at all.

Yep auto submission and spinning *could* do more harm than good. There are probably only about 6 decent article directories worth submitting to and if you are going to 'spin' at least check the content for readability. 50 spun articles from one article sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
