Hi,
So I have a small computer repair shop & was wondering about WEEE compliance. I know I have to offer a free take-back service but do I only have to offer this to customers I've sold things too?
For instance, I've had an email today asking if I could dispose of someones old laptops, so do I have to do this for free? Can I just send them to the local refuse center? Or since they didn't buy a new laptop from me in the first place can I charge for taking these laptops to the recycling center?
If I have to recycle them for free can I charge them a small fee for taking it too the recycling center or a storage charge?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
