Hi i am currently using frontpage to build my website but i am finding it poor and unprofessional. Can anyone recommend some good software that i should use.

Please take a look at my site: designer-demon.com

I would recommend that you use a professional designer, software alone won't make a good site.

Thank you veru much for notifying me. That was a huge error on my part. It is actually .co.uk

Is it you or your hosting provider that is generating the exit pop-up?

It's what you would associate with sites of a dubious nature, and will only serve to annoy potential customers. You would do well to get rids of that.

Use Dreamweaver if you want to get your site looking good after you get good as a designer. It took me a year to get my site looking the way I wanted it to. Might be worth paying a website designer and then learning Dreamweaver so you can modify it in the future. I created my site using Yahoo Sitebuilder its free and easy but the templates are bad and the buttons are slow. I used Photoshop and Illustrator to create my own.
