WAM radio is a not for profit internet radio station run entirely by volunteers, and is the first internet radio station in Wales, that caters for the adults and families who have been diagnosed with Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome.
We have two primary aims, firstly to air a wide variety of shows, that provide both the presenters and listeners with a dedicated autism platform where they can represent and express themselves through chat shows, interviews and of course music.
The second aim is to allow people within the Autism/Asperger spectrum to receive work experience and training in sound technology, as well as meeting people and make new friends while working together in a safe and welcoming environment.
At the moment we are urgently looking for a new home in the Swansea area, if anyone has any space that we can use please get in touch.
