We already had the version where you were testing, however we had troubles logging in, we'll try it out again shortly and see if we still have problems.

Thumbs up from us though, looks like a great tool! :)

It's gone through a few rounds of bug fixing so you should have a much better experience now. Thanks!

Unfortunately I can't find the update for it (as we already had it installed) and we can't login on the version of it we have :(

@B&H - not too sure why the update didn't go through automatically. The best I can suggest is to try removing and reinstalling the app to see if that pushes it up to the fixed version

@Stevens - we need to test for stability before releasing it but, thankfully, it's much quicker to get an app live in the Android Marketplace compared to the iOS App store so it should only be a short delay :)

Excuse me techy people for a possible numpty question - can I use this on a blackberry?

No Steve as Blackberry using their own operating system, which doesn't enable cross platform apps.

There is a forum app, which allows you to view forums in mobile view (name escapes me) which might be on the BB. Worth a search.

Is it TapaTalk? I think it costs a few quid though...

It's broken my iPod Touch :(

I went to the app store, started downloading it, and now just have a message on my screen saying,

"Download Now - UKBF will now begin to download - OK"

but the screen has frozen and clicking OK doesn't do anything.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Yikes - what version of iOS are you running? A safe thing to try first is a soft reset (no data is lost - it just forced the device to fully switch off before coming back online). You can do this by holding the power and home buttons for a few seconds, until the screen goes dark again.

Thanks, that has sorted it
Doubt I will use it much though I find it hard enough typing ona real keyboard:(

I know what you mean - it's nice to keep up on messages and do a bit of reading but I tend to email myself links to respond to later on. Then again, you should see some of the people in the office - they can bash out a 2 page email on a phone faster than I can type the subject line :p

my stubby fingers don't help :(

What I've also noticed is because I read your reply on the iPod when I came to find it on my desktop it wasn't in new posts as I had already read it.

Think I need to stick to one or the other.

Is this still v1.1?

If so, I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's mainly good, although it does crash regularly when moving between pages of threads.

Just installed and had a quick play and seems really good, smooth running (on wifi) and has everything that I would expect to see (subscribed posts, pm's, new posts etc).

Will give it a far better run out tonight when away from pc, but seems a really good app which will be useful in my arsenal.

Seems to be running okay... Then will just crash... I think it happens as I browse between sections, but don't take that as gospel... I'll keep a closer eye on it...

Excellent, so much easier to use the forum on mobile devices, especially that there is no mobile theme for web version.
There are a few bugs though, also do you accept suggestions for future releases?

Regards,
Sebastian

Nice, will make it easier to stay intouch and be more active :-)

Just installing as we speak...

It's built and supported by Tapatalk based on our design requirements but dedicated to UKBF (and free). If you're an existing Tapatalk user then UKBF will still be supported but this is an alternative, dedicated option :)

Update: this thread is now locked as it's picking up a lot of spam. If you have any queries about the app or want to report an issue, please pop over to the Feedback & Help area and start a post over there :)
