Hi,

I am looking at opening a single person UK LLC company and I have a few questions about it. Currently I have a company and I am a resident of another EU country(I will become a UK resident this year), but my internet business would greatly benefit from UK status.

From what I understand UK Company tax is 20% for up to 300k profit and I dont need to pay any additional tax on dividends for up to 35k, is that correct? Also do I need to pay myself a salary or I can just pay myself with dividends at the end of the year? Or is it possible to pay myself personal allowance of 8k as a salary and then take out the 35k as dividends? . Is there anything im missing here or additional other taxes?

Also what are the average accounting prices in UK, for approximately 100 documents/receipts a month and a revenue of $400-500k a year. I deal with people internationally, but mostly US,Canada and EU.

Thanks and sorry for my English :)

Morning.

While you are understandably asking this in the International Forum, your questions relate specifically to UK rules. Suggest you re-post the Finance forum?

Tax on dividends depends on your total UK income including salary, so it is much more complex than you might think. And yes, there are other taxes such as NHI. Strongly suggest you seek advice from and Accountant before setting up a business here, as even the set up can affect taxation.
