Two businesses at same address. Any GMB issues?

What is Googles take on this? I have my main business at an address in Edinburgh.It has a listing in the 3 pack, no problems there. I have a gardening business I run from this address too, which has a GMB local listing, again no problems.

What I am hoping to do now, and what I need your advice on is that I want to stop trading with the existing gardening business for a couple of reasons, nothing sinister, and start a new gardening company from the same address at the same time dissolving the existing gardening business.

My seo guy is worried that we wont be able to secure a new GMB listing and both him and I feel that this is critical to our success. What are the members thoughts please? What can be done?

There is no issue to have multiple businesses at the same address. Too many will raise the red flag.

There may be issues with 'Local search' filtering, but only if there are similar businesses (i.e two solicitors, etc). I have previously had to claim and delete GMB listings within a 'Business Centre' type location, because of conflicts with clients (existing occupier) and other similar businesses that no longer occupy offices at the business centre.

There are a few ways around this, one being using a 'Suite A/B' to differentiate between businesses. If you have a decently sized office with a variety of businesses (are a start-up/incubator) then you'll likely have a few areas designated to specific businesses, even if you don't have partitions on the walls, they'll still be separate sections.

Hasn't failed so far for a few tech incubators we work with!
