Coming from an e-commerce background where I teach businesses how to sell products in the right way, this tool sounds like it's corner-cutting.
What's the point in spending time and effort to get people to your product pages, only for them to see non-tailored product descriptions that do not sell the product in the right way and tick the right boxes for the customer?
E-commerce isn't about flooding a site with products and hoping for the best. It's about selling the right products, in the right way, to the right customers.
There's nothing worse than seeing product descriptions that have just been ripped off from a manufacturer site either.
Sorry if I'm being unfair but, whilst this may seem like a handy time-saver, it's actually not doing your sales any favours because you've not created the descriptions with your customer or a sales-focused objective in mind.
Your product pages are your 'money pages'. They need to be created and refined carefully, otherwise you are just wasting your time.
