Terms to engage a freelancer for an article

We follow a freelancer with quite a few followers on social media and we'd like him to write a guest article for our own site.

Is there a standard template that sets out the basics for the kind of contract work / relationship we want to create?

E.g. you write this for us, then post the link to your social media channels, with this many reposts, etc?

I mean this type of thing might cost £50? So I'm not sure if a contract is necessary.

It's not rocket science, why ask opinions here when just talking to the person will help get your answers. They may have a contract, or write your own, I wonder what - quite a few followers - means. The numbers will dictate the cost. Why not write your own article and then get the freelancer to 'improve' it and launch it.
