Tenders?

Hello

I know the Tenders has moved to the private section for members (which I am).

However I went in to post a new request (I need some costs for biz cards with foil) and see that "There have been no posts in the last 14 days in this forum"?

Does nobody actually use this service now? As before there were loads of posts per day never mind per 14 days!

Thanks
Joanne

Sounds like a bit of revenue stream shaking and killing the feature in the process? HO HUM

yes its working but you have to be a Paid member to view all tenders, otherwise you can only view and respond to your own tender thread and subsequent posts.

I believe that if you are not a full paid member you will not be allowed to view any tenders except ones you have posted.

Neil

Yes but I am a "fully paid member" unless of course I am missing something?

£36 for annual membership? correct? I paid for this but again see no tenders in the last 14 days.

To be honest (and I am not bothered about paying £36 -it is such a small amount) the Tender section was much better before ... but again since I see nothing at the moment that is no surprise!

You don't show as a fully paid up member, though, as I see it on your posts. :|

... well I have the receipt to show that I have indeed paid!
Unless of course it takes 2 days+ to process! I have sent the forum an email but no answer to date (some emails get lost)

Hey, I'm not doubting you or asking for proof! Just saying! :D

No problem Alice3537! Thanks for pointing it out! Good to see someone is watching out!

I think the problem is - is that I have paid but the system has not processed correctly.
Will not lose sleep over this one but I really like this forum ... have been using for 2 years and have had so much helpful advice and new clients from here ... it is a great, reliable forum for all

Comments about activation not going through get made quite often in the feedback section, so if there is a problem, just contact a mod/admin and they sort it out pretty quickly as far as I can tell, Joanne!! Hopefully you'll be one of the fully paid up'ns very soon! :)

Hi Alice

I have contacted the forum via the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page so hopefully will get a response soon - if not will email again as emails do go astray!

Hi Joanne,

I have moved this thread to the Feedback section. There seems to be some problems with the contact form on the forum at the moment. Ill make sure someone from Sift gets in touch to see why you are not showing up as a fully paid up member for the moment.

Hope it helps.

Jacqui :)

Hi Joanne,

This has happened to a couple of people before - because the subscription was made with a PayPal eCheque, rather than a standard PayPal transfer, it can take up to 9 days for PayPal to clear it. Once it's cleared, our systems would automatically upgrade your subscription.

I can see the transaction though, and I've upgraded your account manually, so you're now a Fully Paid-Up 'un!

Regards and thanks,
Darren

HI

There are two tenders sections.
There is the one in the private section, which no-one quotes or posts on.
And there is the other one which is working fine, and you can post on. Go to the forum index, and it's right there down the page, third one up from the bottom.

Kind regards
Sandra
