sometimes its even less that 15 seconds..
a lot of our visitors used to stay 4 seconds on the page and quickly leave.. as soon as we re-designed our main homepage they started navigating more and actually emailing us for enquiries...

Im not sure about this article the one on finding a good logo designer is way off. Maybe he's more an expert on content.
