Hi,

I have burning question, how to get audience in another country for your website. My websites provide paid news for global market. I want people from different countries to know about this. I have tried to submit in different directories based in different countries, I have also joined different groups and communities, even then my domestic traffic is far greater than the traffic from international .

Kindly suggest me what else I can do without investing in paid marketing channel & website's language change

I employ an intern most years from a great Business college in Paris.

I find I get loads of links and traffic coming from France, just because they come and work on our sites and do the job of posting in Native Tongue on French social media sites, forums and the like as they're doing research and asking questions about the market. We often have them translating a site into French as part of their project. It could be that that attracts the traffic, but we generally take the site down as soon as their tutor has marked it.

I think It's mostly just a job of doing what we'd do for the UK, but in the native language, and in current active forums and media channels in those languages.

And presuming your site is in English, you won't have much luck penetrating non-English search results without translating pages.

Exactly. I was surprised nobody mentioned about it at first place.

Because you provide paid news for global market - so even if you'll find the way to drive traffic to your website, if user face content with foreign language, chances that it will engage user to read it are actually nearly zero.

I suggest you to choose most profitable geo for beginning (de, es, it, fr) , and than translate your content into this languages. If profitable just continue.

It allows you to drive traffic to your website from search engines, so obviously this investition should pays off.
